Be kind. Rewind. Beware.

In 1987, an ancient Victorian vampire rises from the grave and follows the sound of cheap synth-pop to a failing suburban house party. Inside, nobody recognizes him as a monster. They read him as a committed costume, a weird guest, or just another inconvenience in a room already dying from social awkwardness.

Raven sees more than the others. When Lord Ambrose Vale feeds, the night turns from strange to lethal, but the party’s indifference creates a worse horror: people accept absence, excuses, and closed doors more easily than the truth. The vampire begins to understand that the modern world does not need to deny evil. It can simply ignore it.

As bodies disappear into the architecture of the house and Rick’s VHS kingdom glows from the basement, Raven is forced to decide what kind of witness she is. Vampires and VHS is a deadpan gothic horror-comedy about an old monster discovering a new age where nobody screams, nobody listens, and even death can be mistaken for bad hosting.
