Scare Shift

THE PAST DOESN’T HAUNT YOU. IT CLOCKS BACK IN.

One year after a corrupt haunt owner and his crew covered up the near-murder of an employee, they reunite for one final teardown shift, only to find the victim waiting inside the attraction, turning every fake scare room into a ritual punishment for the lies they survived by.

One year ago, a late-night break-in at Dead End Haunt turned into a nightmare when Owen Voss caught his co-workers robbing their boss’s safe. In the chaos, Owen was impaled on a ceremonial lance and left for dead. Instead of calling for help, haunt owner Ray Dalton ordered the crew to clean up the scene, erase the story, and let Owen “disappear.” Now the haunt is closing for good. Ray gathers the old crew for one final teardown shift, promising a completion bonus to the same people who built their lives around that buried night. But once inside, the workers find the doors chained, the phones useless, and the haunt’s gutted rooms transformed into a killing ground. Someone wearing the Saint Mask is already inside, stalking them through the stripped attraction and killing each person according to their part in Owen’s disappearance. As bodies appear staged like accusations, Tessa Reed, the one person who knew Owen was still alive and ran anyway, must confront the truth she helped bury. But the night’s final revelation cuts deeper than revenge: Owen did survive, and he has not been working alone.
